The International Division sources forest products globally to best meet the requirements of our trading partners. Olympic maintains several exclusive supply agreements with primary producers to maximize market demands. This allows our suppliers to stay on the leading edge of global market intelligence. Olympic’s 21 origin reload ports in Western and Eastern Canada, Western US Seaboard, and South East US provide the most efficient trade lanes to all overseas markets.
Our sourcing encompasses all species and grades from all regions of North America including: Spruce-Pine-Fir (SPF), Hem Fir/White Fir, Doug Fir, Ponderosa Pine, Yellow Pine, and WR Cedar. Our panel department also trades plywood of all species and OSB. Olympic Industries has recognized the overwhelming demand for custom metric sizing in the international marketplace and has jointly developed cut programs to satisfy our diverse customer base.

NORTH AMERICA
The Domestic Division of Olympic Industries has been the foundation for our success. Our traders have a rare talent in matching production with customer needs and vice versa. We have an experienced support staff aiding the process and ensuring a seamless transaction. With over 800 customers in North America, we sell all parts of the customer chain: distribution, retail, multi-family, independent contractor yards, industrial, national pro-dealer, and the manufacturing sector. Our cutting edge truck and rail traffic divisions handle more than 21,000 units annually creating an invaluable service to our partners.

MANUFACTURING
Olympic Industries produces a wide range of Lodgepole Pine, Spruce, Western Red Cedar and Douglas Fir specialty products. Our ability to do this is based on the relationships we have built with a variety of high quality custom manufacturers over more than 25 years. By partnering with our distributors in analyzing their individual markets, we custom design programs that maximize turns and profit, while utilizing our “extra-quick” ability to ship exact orders on an “as needed” basis.
We proudly produce Pacific Pine 1×4, 1×6 and 1×8. These are tongue and groove, v-joint, shiplap and flooring patterns that are just a few examples of what we make. Combined with our various decking programs, these products are the backbone of our manufacturing business. Our distributors blanket Western North America and are the beneficiaries of our skills and attention to detail. While we do make “stock” products like V-groove paneling, we also make custom “one-off” products when requested. DISTRIBUTION
We have excellent market penetration throughout North America including strategically located contracted reload centres which provide timely distribution to our customers. Our Just-In-Time buyers are responsive to the changing markets and our volume buying power allows us the flexibility to customize loads as well as the ability to service smaller retailers who lack the connections and strength of Olympic. And we don’t stop there. Our customer driven attitude motivates us to make continual improvements to our operations with state of the art tracking systems and the streamlining of our transportation management infrastructure.
