Growing up in a lumber family, I have always been interested in forest, logs and lumber but what I was always most fascinated by is how much work is required to move logs from the bush to the mill and lumber from the mill to the customer. After trading lumber for a period of time, I realized my real passion is for the logistical solution required in moving products to customers. Whether it’s railcar, ocean freight, or trucking, I am interested in how commodities travel. At Olympic, I manage the truck bound freight and it is my goal to help my carriers find loads into locations they need while helping provide accurate information to my traders so they can secure business.
